the purpose of this site is to use it as a search engine, just like any other search engine, such as google. but not as popular, but if anything it probably would work better than yahoo. or google. some interesting features were that you can search up on celebrity gossip and also you can do online shopping too. you can use this for when you travel, and use it to get around. this web page will also keep you updated with news as well as the gossip.

Thing#18
i chose MIT opencourseware. the course i picked was 21m.263 Music since 1960, spring 2006, and the instructor was professor Brian Robison. on thing i learned about the course was that you have to make four reviews and anallize the performances. and another thing i learned is that you have a term paper and a presentation. i would say that this is a good course to take if thats what your intrested in, and you can learn enough just by looking on the course ware. it seems to be very helpful with searching for classes you may want to take.

podcast are a cool way to look at certain things and have them so you could watch them anywhere you go. its a really neat idea but, i think that you could watch the news, or just regular TV. i think podcast are for those busy people who are always on the go.i guess its a cool new method to view news and watch TV shows. yes this is a very big development, and you can do many different things with podcast. personally i wouldn't use it too much, because i would rather watch tv. but if i didnt ever have time to watch tv, it would be a nice way to keep updated on my information.

1. in this application it was somewhat like a word document, but it had small special features that make it a little more unique, i found that you could put small pictures in it.
2. you could write out you daily schedules for you personal life and also for school too. and you can write alll your esssays for school and research papers also.
3. a special feature i found was that two or more people can edit a document at the same time, how you work that is go to collaberate editting of documents, and it will let you edit work and others can edit you work as well.

the orgin of the term wiki is (its a website to revise and keep current data)
3. If you were to create a wiki, what would it be about and why?

Thing#12
1.) a tag cloud is a page where keyword are to help you search out a picture your looking for. so you would type in a keyword and it will give you pictures having to do with that keyword. and its called a tag cloud.
2.) a creative common refers to photos with all the same licenses adn it seperates them by license.
3.) i like flickr better because you can search through pictures instead of looking for websites, it gives you a better view of things.
